“I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.”
The celebratory pinks and vibrant background common to “Vine” and “Branches” are continued in “Fruit.” Blackness pours forth from the canvas as venom being pulled from the blood. It represents the cleansing of character evident in the lives of the Abiding. Comics are collaged to represent the frames of our lives contributing to the wider, multidimensional story of God.
