Emma Gazley | Towers

Inspired by the iconic Eiffel Tower, it shows a power to overcome cities.  The gold that extends over from the left, overtaking the cityscape is reminiscent of wholeness and worth.  White cells representing order and purity follow the washing over of gold.  “Towers” turns a hopeful eye toward the possibility that more can become of our world than black towers over broken concrete.  As a redemptive piece it celebrates the covering of what is and has been misplaced.
